Crash

Hey everybody, I have kind of a setback as my system hard drive went bad, so that's put my computer in a crippled state for a little while until a new one that I ordered comes in and I have enough space to get everything functional again. I haven't lost any data, it will just mean a delay. Also, while I plan to continue Civil Protection, I have been getting discouraged by the extremely long production times, so as an experiment I'm going to start a different series simultaneously. I'm not going into details yet, but this idea for a show would be MUCH faster to produce, to the point where I could have releases on a weekly basis even. This would give you guys something to tide you over while I work on CP, which seems to take a lot of time no matter what. I hope to release a "pilot episode" of my new series idea in a week or two and let you be the judge whether you think I should continue it or not. So check back in a week or two and there should hopefully be some new stuff here.

Sorry to hear about your hard drive problem. Seems like it's been going around; I had major crashes on two drives this last March, Lit Fuse guys had major crash...what the hell's going on with these drives? Glad you didn't lose anything. Good luck!

Heh, yeah. I hope you'll get everything working again. This is yet another reminder for me to copy my Computer on a few discs so as to avoid losing it all with an E.M.P. shockwave.

Good luck with the new stuff, sounds awesome.

Good things always take time. Why should this be any different? I have done my best to propagate the series and many adoring fans are always asking when another episode will be out.. I usually tell them to "SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP!"

surely the idea should be not to increase the workload, but be a little more efficiant in your current work. But hey why am i posting this, your not going to post it like other comments ive made when they have been slightly critical.

f12bwth: the difference is that the majority of the time is spent on something which I've come not to like very much, namely the animation. Of course all the other aspects of filming take time too, which I don't mind, but animation takes a ridiculous amount of time, much moreso than if I was filming real actors.

anonymous dude: What are you talking about? I turned post moderation off, the only reason I used it was to stop spamming of pharmaceutical ads, which seems to have gone away. The only other post I can recall that I've deleted on here was a flat out insult that was equivalent to restroom graffiti. What comment is it of yours that you think that I deleted? Feel free to repost it here.

latest anonymous dude: It's on machinima.com too. My problems with filefront are part of the reason I switched to them. Here's a link:

Ross its first 'anonymous dude' here, my other post that didnt go up was about time scale but since then ive come realise the effort envolved. There wasnt any insults so that must have been someone else. As for the last post i was a bit wound up that day so i wrongly took it out on you. You should take it as an odd compliment cause its just a bit frustrating not being able to see new episodes when ive enjoyed the others so much, which i can only imagine is more so for you as your creating it. Anyway good luck and i look forward to seeing your future work.
