Well, I kept running into too many bugs and I've gotten very little sleep over the past several days, so I'm not going to try and go for a last minute save with this, it's just going to be late. I'm very happy with how some of the footage is coming out and since this has a darker sense of humor, it's my personal favorite so far. The irony is that I'm finding this very discouraging because of the insane amount of time required to make these. While I'm overflowing with ideas, I'm not sure how realistic it's going to be for me to keep making these. The next episode will definitely come out though, all the really difficult parts are done, I just need a little more time to put it all together. Sorry for the delays in all this.

It'll be done when it's done. We all have patience.

"It'll be done when it's done." This isn't going to turn into Civil Protection Forever is it?

man i love your work and i really dont mind waiting, in fact *being optimistic* i like the wait it just means these next episodes will rock. one more thing, its really a shame your having your doubts about civil protection, cause this series really rocks (its become my new red vs. blue).

oh one more thing something is wierd with the site ... like for some reason your post has made all the things on the right side of the site (like the links for the video) fall in the middle.

The last thing you want to do is get discouraged and think you've failed. You learn from your mistakes, you learn to get over them faster in the future. Let it come out whenever you can get it out, as long as you're sure it's gonna blow our socks off :)

It dosent matter if we wait. You're the one making the movie, so fans cant bash you just cause its late. They're not making it so they haver no right to bash.

I know exactly what it's like to be up late and trying to finish something up, but keeping awake is definitely not the way to go. Sometimes it's very hard to sleep, but it's better than infront of the Computer.

I'm not saying it should come out first thing in the morning, just don't worry about the release date. If it comes this month, we're fine.

Sorry to hear you're getting discouraged from the expirience; the work you're putting into it shows.
The characters live so freely in the shots, and it does an amazing job of suspending disbelief. You're fanbase is behind you %100!

Now don't get all pesamistic on us!! You haven't failed!! Who cares about missing "Deadlines"? (Unless it's an important essay which must be handed in the next morning or the world ends; woop, possibe "Lost" storyline there!) Your works are masterpieces, just like the game series it's self and rushing it or doing all nighters just to please the fans is just over doing it! Don't give up! Take your time! Chill! We will be patient! Right guys??...

See how many people are behind you? This really is the new Red vs. Blue for some people.

We're not paying for the videos so you can bring them out as often as you like.

Let's just take it all one step at a time. We're with you all the way.

i will just keep watching and laughing at the ones i already have.

take your time. if you are willing to make them, i am sure there are many who are willing to watch them.

this is not a race, this is entertainment.

I agree full heartedly with what Impersonator said. don't pressure your self so much, we can be patient. Just so long as there is eventually a finished product we are happy (cause they are always perfect ^^). Besides I'm such a loser I don't know what I would do if I didn't have your series to watch every now and again for a good laugh.

fail huh? =) funny. just dont waste time telling stories, put it when it's finished. it's not complicated u see. by the way i'm growing impatience to watch and show it to my fiends like i did to other 4 movies. here some courage:

U ROCK DA WORLD DUDE

Dont give up on CP. It's a fantastic series and one of the few things in life that ever make me laugh out loud. Seriously. Your work is great and I dont mind waiting at all. Like the guy above said "i like the wait it just means these next episodes will rock."
Keep up the fantastic work and I look forward to you making me laugh again ^_^

Dude, This show rules! You mind if I put the CP logo on a t-shirt?

Anonymous said...

Yeah. Your fans are behind you no matter what. Do not get discouraged.

It reminds me of a quote from Douglas Adams, author of "The Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy".

"I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."
Douglas Adams.

Another thing, deadlines and creativity do not really mix.

Jack London said that a good and professional publisher gives an author a fake deadline that is about a month ahead of a real one.

He noted that when he was writing "Hearts of Three " he was astonished to find out that the deadline he was given was an actual deadline. He said " [this publisher was probably new to the business and was unfamiliar with writers and the fact that you can not give them an actual deadline if you want the work done on time].

Best of luck to you with the series.

pwease don't give up mr. woss! you are the only thing that makes me smiwle wen my papa beats me . . .

A note to some of the people posting: To the one wanted to put the CP logo on a T-Shirt, how would he contact you without leaving a name? :P

And to the one that's father beats him... I do hope that's a joke.

As always, as long as you guys don't give up and watch Combine Nations knockoff, then I'll be good. The Leet World (www.theleetworld.com) is good though. :)

Props to all, this stuff takes time.

We can wait.

Don't give up. You have some serious talent, which I'd say is a cut above most of the crap modmakers put out. You should seriously think about applying for a job at Valve with this stuff as your resume. They could use a guy like you. Right now, they're putting out a series of TF2 movies about the characters, but what comes next? Whatever does, I think you should have a hand in it.

In the immortal words of GIR "I love this show" ^^

Nobody is pushing you. If we have to wait - we have to wait. I appreciate your videos very much! But please create them in a way that you keep having fun with them.

if you're having doubts because the episodes take too long to make, the less movement-oriented episodes could simply be done in comic form. Get rid of some of those ideas cloggin' up your brain, you know?

Hey man, I've seen your first two episodes and I want you to know that they rock.

As you can see everybody understands what your doing. The fact that its taking a while just goes to show that your putting a lot of effort into it and making it worth your while.

Well done and keep up the good work.

You guys HAVE to make more! This is the most amazing series I've ever seen, and I'm a freak about HL! Keep going, I know it's time consuming, but you have so many fans that it would be such a disappointment to! :(
